Skills Junction goes live
A new dedicated skills search engine site created by the WE LEP Skills team is now live. The portal brings together information from over 300 training providers and educational institutions in the region together with national accredited training bodies, making it easy for employers and individuals to find local training. Creative businesses needed to shape future skills
Creative businesses are being invited to help plan training to ensure it meets future business needs. The WE LEP Skills team are holding a creative skills hub workshop on March 27th to bring industry and education closer together and identify the skills barriers.
Currently estimated to be worth £8 million an hour to the UK economy and identified as a priority sector for the West of England, the creative industry is a diverse sector with a varied range of skills needs and shortages. Find out more here.
A Room Full of Talent
The Creative Skills Hub in partnership with Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) is holding a ‘Room Full of Talent’ showcase for potential employers to meet eight junior digital producers, who have spent five months as interns at KWMC working on a range of creative digital projects.
