The 2015 Creative Apprenticeship Opportunity
Creative and digital businesses across the West of England can now access impartial advice and support around apprenticeships. Along with straight forward advice, businesses can access support with the recruitment process, guidance on reaching the most suitable young people and better understand the advantages of entering into an apprenticeship programme.
The programme of support for West of England based companies brings together; Creative Skills Hub - West of England Local Enterprise Partnership, Cirencester College and Bristol Media, alongside national organisations; Creative Skillset, Creative & Cultural Skills and the national award winning programme, the 2015 Creative Pioneers Apprenticeship Challenge, managed by the IPA .
Nicky Williams from the Creative Skills Hub said, "The West of England has a huge number of diverse and world-class creative and digital companies who are beginning to realise the huge potential to their business of employing a young person or apprentice. Through this exciting support programme with our local and national partners we will be able to offer local creative and digital businesses a wide range of expert, impartial advice and support, ensuring there is access to a wide range of local talent. In an often complicated landscape for both young people and employers, we hope the coming together of these key organisations will support businesses in understanding how employing an apprentice can benefit them, what funding is available and where to find impartial advice."
